Mexico City Tourism Help ?

  • Answer:

Mexico City is still the safest city in the country where you are least likely to be kidnapped or killed. Magdalena Contreras is a nice area. It's probably the greenest part of the Distrito Federal, not actually the city proper. Mexicans are all races and colors. You and your sister can have a great time in Delegación Magdalena Contreras and in the City.

Guess what, I am a Mexican who doesn't look like a Mexican. I am very white. I am from Mexico City. Never in my mind crossed the stupid idea that I'd get kidnapped for not looking Mexican. You should do the same. Another thing, STOP reading **** on the Internet, it's mostly lies, exaggerated crap, or trolls like fat Ken up here. I took my kids there some time ago when they were exactly 15 and 13, they LOVED IT and even want to LIVE there. So stop wasting your time with fear based on lies.

I am a white American and have lived in Mexico City for 15 years. I love it here and have never felt a moment of fear. You will have a great time.

Not to sound racist but it sound's like American munks who sit in their couch all day watching Fox News and claiming Mexico a bad place to visit, trust me, I'm Mexican-American, I live here in Mexico and honestly I can tell you that it's safer than USA {Yes I've been to USA} to travel, just because you here on thing bad in Mexico doesn't mean it's all bad. Just stay with your dad at all cost for visiting a city you never went before, take care and have a fun trip! :DDD
