  You're falling for the fairytale - it's fine if it doesn't snow much, but if there is heavy snow, it's a nightmare. In any case, did you check if the sites you want to visit are open during winter months? Many aren't simply because there aren't a lot of visitors at that time of year. That said, if you were to stay in the major cities and not venture into the countryside, you'd probably be fine.
