How can I get a summer job on a cruise ship?

You just don't get it do you? Summer jobs on cruise ships don't exist. Almost all cruise ships are registered in other countries and they hire for 8-10 month rotations. That means you work 7 days a week with no days off. You work 10-12 hours a day where and when they need you. The person you see cleaning your room in the morning could be who serves you drinks in the evening at the show. These people work very hard to get these positions and they aren't simply going to give them up so you can earn summer spending money. Besides, the cruise ships have a rigorous screening that they put all their applicants through and I seriously doubt that you could pass that.
