Working on a Cruise ship?

I think it's a very good experience. If you are single and have freedom to do so, I would do it. You will meet people, you will travel and see different places, you will earn money, and of course, you will work¡¡¡ Life on board can be a little different and hard than at home, but hey, is offset by many other things. I'm sure you'll like it. moreover, there will be only 6 months, and then yourself can decide if you like it or not. so you decide if repeat or not. Many people repeat contract after contract, that means, they like it a lot. Above all you have to go with a positive attitude and willingness to work and learn a lot, if you do well, you can even make a career in the company, you have to prove your worth. I was a lifeguard for a cruise ship for a while. It was just like working in other places except that I got to know some of the regulars since they would come to the pool everyday. I got pretty good tips in the end as the employee all get the same tips. It could get a bit boring sometimes depending on where you're going. But I was in Puerto Rico which had awesome weather for the most part.

Never done it myself but met two who have, a hairdresser and a musician. They both enjoyed it at the time. I think the worst for me would be rough weather.
