How do I work on a cruise ship?

I would like to work on a cruise ship as esthetician. How does it work with pay room and food? ?

    Depends which cruise ship you are wanting to work for. My room is free and I get 4 meals a day for free. My assignment is I'm gone for 5 months come home for 1 and they do pay for my flight travel. There usually is an esthetician on board at one of the salons. I kind of doubt in your field of work that they would hire you for that. They do hire a doctor for each ship and a nurse or two. but that's about it. I suggest you call a cruise ship company just to be sure and ask.
