What are the positives of saving energy?

  • I need to know what the positives are of saving energy. I know only 2 positives of saving energy (using less electricity): we are saving the earth and costs less energy.

    cant fault N's answer for tech. and economics so i'll just add a 'soft' answer; feelgood factor; social cohesion. i love saving money, and love, love, love feeling i am doing my bit to leave the world in a less bad way for future generations of humans and other life forms than it otherwise could be if i didnt save energy. this makes me happier and more likely to cooperate with other folk on other social endeavors.
