How to kill TERMITES on woods,doors,etc.?and how to protect your house in the future without contacting an ex

    You really, really need to contact a professional exterminator. We tried to get rid of them ourselves and they did tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage. It would have saved us so much money to have had the job done right as soon as we discovered them. We tried to get rid of them ourselves for over three years. I would start by getting insecticide that list termites on the label. You should find at Lowes, Homedepot, or hardware store. Next buy a 2 gallon pump up sprayer for about $20.00 Read an follow all safety precautions on label. Spray around the entire perimeter of home, and under your house if you have crawl space. If you have paper, or wood, or the ground, or under your house, clean it up as this draws termites. Look for mud tunnels going up blocks or support columns, they will be about 1/2" wide. This will be termite tunnel to go back and fourth into your home, remove and spray heavy. Hope this helps. Good Luck
