    Endangered plants can often be protected from animals i.e. netting, barriers, bark protection etc...Many endangered plants are also saved from extinction by colecting seeds, relocating or taking cuttings and growing at nurseries. It's much harder to save endangered animals. Keeping a good environment for them, stopping poaching, or reducing competition from exotic threats would be a good starting point.

Man, you've really painted yourself into a corner on this one. The chances of this happening are pretty small, considering the low populations of each. The only thing I can suggest is doing a search on Y!A. "What do you do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant?" gets asked a couple of times a week by kids who think they are being clever. Perhaps you could collect and tabulate the answers. If you list them all, you could fill the paper with the answers as an appendix.
