Easy one, there is a copy of the letter in Waylon's autobiography, which I have. The song John mentioned was "Tight A$" from his 1973 Mind Games album. What John actually said was, he was glad Waylon liked the song, but he didn't think anyone else should record it, meaning "Do not remake this song, Waylon!" Shame, as these are my 2 biggest musical influences, and I think this would have rocked out any of Waylon's albums from 1973-75, which was his most influential period!
