How do I sing higher notes without cracking?

My voice keeps cracking when I sing high notes....?

  • I'm 19 & a fairly good singer (people tend to use the word amazing, I don't agree) but the higher notes were never my strong point. I could sing them, sure, but they sounded weak. ...show more

But just practice and once you hit that note it will feel oh so satisfying :)

everything the person above me said, but be sure not to sing too loudly too much or your throat will start to hurt. and be sure to relax your vocal chords. drink a lot of water too. :]

If you have trouble singing the really high notes, don't sing them, sing an alto piece. If you keep singing the very high notes, you could strain your vocal chords really badly. Then you won't be able to speak or sing for a very long time
