What age does your singing voice fully develop?

Why do I lose my voice after singing 1 or 2 songs? This has been happening since i started singing at age 8.?

  Because you are relying on your voice alone. Go out on Yahoo and get a look at vocal chords. They are very, very tiny and although they can take alot, they are not meant to do the work alone. The VAST MAJORITY of singing strength comes from the breath, not the vocal chords themselves. Please do yourself a favor and seek out a qualified vocal instructor to help you. Also, go to a doctor to see if this way of singing has given you vocal chord nodules. If you have them, you will need to be on total voice rest for a long time. If you are a smoker, quit smoking. It will help to preserve your voice over the long run.
