    I was just thinking about this yesterday!!!! I think its about a girl that commits suicide beacuse she experiences so much pain/grief. All she thinks about is her own pain without realizing how much her decision is affecting the ones around her. Her family and friends want to help her but she doesn't want to listen to them because she knows that deep down inside, they have no idea what's she's feeling and going through. She just wants to be alone cause at this point, she's just tired of everyone TRYING to help her w/o genuinely understanding her problems. In the end of the song, she commits suicide because she never received her last wish which was help or a solution to her pain/grief. I used to think it was about drug use too cause of this part: She shuts the door She longs for more and more And more She shuts the door She longs for more and more And more Just once more Hope I helped!!

i think it might be about a girl who cuts herself but then gets so fed up with her life that shes about to jump off a building, hence the 'her first time on the edge' and 'closer to the edge' and also 'do you want to see yourself flying through the night' as in falling from the top of the building. but im not too sure. its a really good song though =] Ich liebe Tokio Hotel <3

Hmm, I never really thought about that one. Now that I'm listening to it, I don't really understand why it would be about drug use or cutters, but that's just me and my dumb self. But there's a chance that it is about that because Tokio Hotel are the type of band to write about subjects like this I guess since they wrote Don't Jump which is like anti suicide. And by the way, I like TH 4 life! Good one!
