    You're a competent musician. You're also old enough that your parents don't need to come to your lessons anymore. What do you mean when you say it seems like your mom doesn't care? If you went to her and said, "Hey, I've been working on this piece, can I play it for you and get your opinion," would she blow it off? If not, then she cares. My parents have 0 involvement in my musical life but I know they support it. Maybe you're just not reading your mom the right way. Why don't you find a way of telling her what you told us? It seems like you think your mom loves you based on how well you play the piano, which is extremely unlikely. We can't change your situation, but you can.
