I think the Taylor guitars you mentioned would be fine for the type of music you are playing , I am not a fan of Martin guitars for blues but that is my choice , I like the style music you are playing , Robert Johnson was one od my favorites , check out B B Kings guitar too .

Have you considered, or can you get, a Godin 5th Ave? It's an arch top, not too expensive, high quality and have a P-90 pick up. http://www.godinguitars.com/godinpress5thave.html I have one and it is has replaced my acoustic guitar. I love it, it's a blues/folk machine.
