Is reading with a red light bad for your eyes?

Does anyone else find compact fluorescent light to be more stressful on the eyes while reading?

Fluorescent light is not good for you at all. I hate those lights. I hate white light in general. I much prefer the incandescent lights. It has a softer light more like sunlight. LED lights hold some hope of being able to create a spectrum more like incandescent bulbs. CFL will go away as more advances in LED bulbs come along.
