  Honestly don't go into any of these fields with money as the object. You can be successful and stable as an architect, interior designer, or graphic designer, but the real value in each of these careers lies in your passion within each field. The reason I decided on architecture was because I grew up with my uncle at his firm and realized after trying other majors that architecture was something that I could find joy in, even when the work load was a lot. My advice: if you feel like interior design is something that you want to do, pursue it. Job shadow, go for the major, take classes pertaining to it. You'll know if it's not for you pretty quickly and then try something else.
