How do unemployment insurance benefits work when also working temp job?

If I am collecting unemployment benefits based on my previous job and take a new permanent job which doesnt work out and I am let go again after a few weeks, do I just resume benefits ...show more

Answer:
You will have to qualify again for unemployment based on the reason you separated from your last employer. If they just let you go because you couldn't do the work, you're good to go. When you start collecting benefits again it will be based on the claim you are receiving now until your year is up.
