What are the pros and cons of becoming a physical therapist vs. becoming a speech language pathologist?

    PT and SLP are pretty good careers..PT requires alot of physical endurance and being able to lift heavy things...you can work in a variety of settings like hospitals, PT clinics, school districts, nursing homes, private clinics, fitness centers. You can choose to work with children or the elderly or jus everyone. SLPs do the same..they can work with stroke/brain injury victims, cleft palate patients, deaf/hard of hearing, developmental/mental disorder patients in a variety of working for school districts, self-employed, hospitals, nursing homes, private clinics. SLP that work in schools are more of a sit-down job you would work in a steady pace environment unlike hospitals which could be fast paced. U can specialize in different areas...
