27 years ago, I interviewed for a legal secretary position. Now I am a legal assistant and office manager. I had no legal background, but did have LOTS of secretarial background as well as accounting. If you are a fast learner, good at details, proof your own work and take initiative at work to learn everything you can, you will do good at whatever career you choose.
