  • Answer:

The best thing to do is gather some receptionist ads and analyze them to determine where your customer service experience matches the receptionist duties. Example answering phones, dealing with customers, communicating a specific message, etc. Then what you want to do is work on your resume to include some of those things and develop a good cover letter to go along with your resume. Start sending out resumes and working on your interview skills. Practice telling them why your experience will be beneficial to them and tell them how you know how to handle upset customers which many receptionists don't know how to do. I wish you the best. Good luck

one of the best places still is craigslist. you should really give them a try, along with workopolis and monster.ca(if in canada, dont know if they have international listings?) also there are local listings in papers or even government job search sites, canada has a job search site I don't know the exact address, but if you live in canada you can look on google for canadian job listings government. there are many sites out there that list jobs, search also for job listings receptionist. good luck with your findings!
