    Dream job? okay by me. I would apply as soon as I was able to go to work. As for scheduling conflicts, some employers will work with your schedule and some won't. I have worked at places where you could trade hours with other employees. Maybe Big Mc has similar flexibility. It may develop, though, you have to decide whether you want to work or want to play. You might not be able to do both.

If you have conflicts with school activities, then I would put off applying until after those are complete, or apply a couple of weeks before they are done since it will take at least that long to get hired. In the meantime, if you have a particular location in mind, it would not be a bad idea to stop in and introduce yourself to the manager (you can actually do this a few times to see different managers). Let them know that your goal is to get a job and you are excited about the chance to work there. Then when you apply it will be like they already know you!
