How do you job hunt? The workers always say .. no jobs going!! Im 16 and looking for my first weekend/summer..?

Honestly, times are tough, the economy is falling, people are getting laid off every day, and there are no jobs to be found. I live in CT, degree straight out of college, and only 19 years old, and experiance up the butthole, but I can't even find a job, and I've been jobless since September. But I did come out with a job in SC, but I have to move away from my fiancé of 4 years, because he cant leave his job yet. Honey, at your age, honestly you will be extremely lucky if you find a job, because bosses are going to give the job first to the older person with the family that they have to take care of. But do apply EVERYWHERE, especially in grocery stores as a cashier. And keep calling back everywhere that you've appoied to once a week, and be persistant. Honestly, best of luck to you, but don't be to hurt if you can't find one. Just remember that times are tough, and it's not just you, it's everyone. Also, that's great that you have that relationship with your mom where you want to help out so much, not many kids now a days aren't that greatfull.
