How do I get a waitress job without actual experience?

I'd really love to get a job as a waitress but have no experience what so ever? any tips?

Hey, I have been working as a waitress for a year now and have gained alot of knowledge on how to treat customers and being as efficient as possible. Ive learnt that you need to keep thinking about your tables all the time..for example "do they have sauces?", "have they finished starters so I can send mains away?" or "do they have the correct cutlery?" Always smile and be polite to the customers no matter how rude they can be to you, and trust me you will have your fair share of grumpy customers! Stand tall and straight, keep focused and dont let other co workers distract you. Listen to your boss at all times. Listen carefully to what the cutomers are ordering, it can be very easy to get an order wrong. On the money side of things, the pay isnt that great seeing as being a waitress is a very hard job. But in the end the tips are great, the better you are the more tips you'll get! Good luck =) xx
