  Search on google, not yahoo answer. At least not for this type of generic question. Your email subject should be like "Employment Inquiry" or "Employment Referral by _____" or something along those lines. Your body should start off with Dear _________, if you know their name. Otherwise, stick with hiring manager or to whom it may concern. Then proceed with briefly description who you are and your intentions. For example, Dear John, I am a recent ______ graduate and I am seeking for a position at _________. Simple and straightforward. Next, you can include one more sentence of brief introductory. If you have certain qualifications that must be known to the employer, you can include it as well. But usually you keep it for the cover letter. Then you proceed with saying that you included your resume and cover letter as attachments. Then follow with thank you for their consideration and offer the opportunity for them to contact you. Then you end it with "Regards, John Address email: ____________ cell: ______________" Remember to attach your cover letter and resume. Even if they only ask for resume, slap on a cover letter for good measures. You can separate it into two files.
