  Is best to take a course in the field so that at least you know most things in theory. Also it would be easier to get certification as you would be armed with knowledge. There are 3 routes; 1 check with community colleges around you. They are the best in terms of cost under “back to school” program. I think for less than 1000 bucks you should be armed with a certificate course. 2 Join a online course, top of my head I can recall Allied School & Career Step both are good, These would be a bit more expensive. Use Google to find more online schools. Talk to each one them and ask questions till you feel satisfied. If you decide to join choose a payment plan which enables you to pay smaller down payment. If you want to quit for some reason loose would be minimal. 3 option is on the job training. I am not sure how that works. Don’t be afraid go to a CVS or Wal-Mart, hang around and see who do you feel comfortable talking to. Most people are helpful. Best of luck
