What level of schooling do i need to become a physician assistant?

You will need a college degree(bachelors) in order to gain entry into a PA program so it's good you are working on that, in addition to said degree you will need prerequisite courses from a college or university e.g(biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, english, mathmatics, upper level chemistry) to get more info google some PA schools and take a look at thier requiremnts each school has different requirements it's not like med school. Second you will also need some type of hands on patient care experience that is actually touching patients you have that covered too so far you are looking great. once you get into Pa school the lenght of the program is 2-3 years long, you will graduate the school hopefully with a masters degree in physician assistant studies and a physician assistant liscence(national or state level) If you do take a nursing major you should take some of the prerequisite coursework i mentioned and work for a little bit then apply to PA school where you will have more responsibility and make more money.
