If I do my LPN now - how long will RN take?

In Canada, how many years of schooling does it take to go from LPN to RN?

  • I know if you want to be an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), you usually have to take 4 years of college, but how about if you wanted to become an RN (Registered Nurse) after that?

  • Answer:

    2 years

YOu can become an LPN in about 2 years. In Arkansas you can then apply to local university and get your RN in about 2.5 more years (with an Associate's degree) and 3.5 more years for your Bach. degree.
