What is the difference between a Medical Assistant, a Patient Care Technician, and a CNA?

    I believe a med. assistant assists in the OR. Sterilizing stuff, handing equipment to the MDs, etc. Maybe Google search med. assistant duties? A PCT is an over glorified term for a CNA, I believe. Unless they don't need certifications to work as a home health aide. Med assistant I believe takes 2 years of schooling. 2x longer than the LPN program. I am a CNA in Knoxville.
