If i have a CNA degree how long would it take to get an ultrasound tech degree?

    CNAs do not have degrees. They take a short 6 week course and take a certification test. They earn a certificate. A college degree requires a minimum of 2 years of college coursework, minimum. There are Associates Degree options for sonographers - 2 years, or, Bachelors degree options - 4 years. Having your CNA certification will not shorten your length of time, because CNA certs are pretty much worthless and don't transfer / count towards anything else.

The program is 2 years or 4 years, depending on which you choose. Each program has different requierments in terms of college education. Some programs don't require any and some require an AA/AS and/or a BA/BS. My program (2 year program) required a minimum of a Bachelor degree and ideally a degree in an Allied Health program. So, at the minimum, you wouldn't need any college, but I would highly suggest getting at least an Associate degree. If you know which program(s) you will be applying to, check what their policy is. If you need a Bachelor degree, then you'll be in school for at least 6 years (Bachelor + 2 year program) before you're able to work. Some programs are Bachelor programs but they have their own requirements. Again, you have to check for each program to know what you need.
