Which is better: Pharmacist Tech or Physical Therapist Assistant?

    Seeing as that you are not currently a nurse, I would not specifically recommend the path to NP, as the course would me MUCH longer (4yrs BSN, then a few years of critical care experience, then grad school for the doctorate). That being said, both NP and PA are essentially the same job, just trained differently. Both are mid-level providers that are under the indirect supervision of a MD. And yes, there is a big need for such positions.
