Medical research has a lot of areas. You could either work in the lab with cells, with animals, with people or with the data. I work in a division of medical research called 'clinical research.' That means that I work with real life patients and I see how medicines are working on real people who have the disease. You should start off going to college for Biology, Chemistry or Pharmacology. There are some jobs that you can get with just a bachelor's, but others that require a Masters degree of Doctorate degree.
