What majors are suggested to become either a video game producer or a video game designer/programmer?

I have 2 cousin that are in collage right now !wanting to get a major in game designing.Ok,you have to take couple of computher sciences,progaming, and designing!and one big thing ,You got to know how to draw if you want to learn how to design your own games,That a BIG AND IMPORTANT THING! if you dont know how to draw,i wouldnt bother trying!
