What electrical engineering jobs have disappeared over the past ten years?

Seem like a growing field to me....I can't find any information on this. I know advancement in technology would probably take out some of the jobs centered around older things ...show more

Answer:
None that I could think of (at least for the past 10 years). While technology keeps moving forward, the concepts of EE are still the same. For instance, if I was a cassette player designer that means that I have a strong background in analog circuits and communications. Thus, if I lost my job I could still use my experience to find a job in the communications industry. I would still use my same skills set, except that the product I work on is different.
