How do I find free public records?

Does anyone know where I can find free public records for registered sex offenders?

    http://www.familywatchdog.us/ for civilians and http://www.militarysexoffendersregistry.com/ for servicemen. These are both free. I don't know why any other site would charge for that service...

You can go to your local Attorney Generals site. For instance if you live in Ohio there will be a list available for you to see. Also you may be able to find it with your local Sheriff`s office. I hope this helps you out.
