What is a good score on the postal exam 473?

Has anyone got hired as a PSE mail processing clerk with a 79.00 score on the 473 postal exam?

  The passing score is 70%. As for your overall odds of getting picked?.....I think this depends on where you are located at and what specific office you applied at. Several friends of mine have worked for the post office for years. Most of them are mail carriers, however one person started as a PSE and scored a 75 on the test. It took her about six months to get notice from the post office at that time. However, this depends on how many people scored higher than you on the test that show up for interviews, pass background checks, drug tests, etc. I do know that it depends on which post office on how many people they call in from the list they have. Sometimes it's three, however depending on the location it can be more. Unfortunately, with the post office there is no 100% way to know for sure if/when you will be called until it happens. Don't give up though! :)
