I am a sales manager who is looking to infuse a competitive atmosphere within his sales floor. ?

• With that said, I am looking to put together a prize for best salesperson for the week and need some ideas on a prize. I am looking to spend around $100-$200. Any suggestions????

  Just a comment from a consumer. When you start having sales people compete amongst themselves they start being a**holes between themselves and it comes across in their presentations to the customers. Don't make any award you give them sales oriented. Base it on customer service and satisfaction rather than how much they sell. Perhaps have the customer rate the sales person on a scale of 1-10 at the time of the sale by giving them a little scorecard they can drop in a box. Advertise it as a "customer satisfaction" contest. I personally won't buy anything from anyone working on commission or those who have a quota to fill. The sales people generally start telling the customer anything they want to hear to make the sale and it's an insult to my intelligence.
