  If you're in an actual university, your major and minor can be completely different. Most colleges have academic advisors, so I would set up an appointment with one and see how you can plan this out. OR some colleges have double major programs, so you can major in both and when you graduate, you can just pick one as a career since you'll already be qualified for both. Either way, you'll have to talk to someone in your administrative office at your college to get their input.
