It really depends on how much you choose to work. I live with my sister who is an RN, getting her PhD in Nursing at UW, and when she works to her capacity she can easily make over 100 grand/year. But she basically gets to choose her hours...they call her in almost every night. When she picks up extra shifts and makes time and a half, she really rakes it in.
