How can I become a lawyer and a journalist?

I go to a community college and I messed up really bad the first year. Now im trying to get my act together and I want to become a lawyer and a journalist...can anyone tell me step by ...show more

Complete a 4 year undergraduate degree in journalism, and then go to law school. Thats the fastest way to finish the education requirements. Work on the school newspaper/magazine/yearbook as much as possible for the experience.

Does your college have a school paper? If so, get a job on it right away. Anything at all. Get an idea what it's like to work in journalism. Buckle down to your studies, and don't mess up anymore. Then when you've completed your current course, ask a guidance counsellor how to go on to get a BA degree so you can qualify for law school. Complete one degree at a time.
