    Well on yahoo we are going to tell you the truth lol, so be prepared !! Ok so i broke my wrist too when i was 12 too !! I had 3 casts on and all took about 2 months to heal properly, so you will probably be around then, but of course it depends the severity of the break, if it's just a hairline fracture it can be healed in about 1 and half months. However if it's Straight through the bone it can take up to 4-5 months !! Anyway at least you are probably getting Lott's attention like i was, and people are signing your cast, hope you have a speeding recovery :D Becky xxx

you'll be fine. just follow the doctor's directions. a broken bone that doesn't hurt is great, but you still need to take care of it properly in order to prevent damage that will hurt. when my son broke his collarbone as a kid, his bone was lined up good also. after 2 weeks, the x-ray just barely showed where the break was & he didn't hurt. he still had to be careful for awhile, just to let it heal the rest of the way & be solid again. once your cast is off, use the splint, exercise your arm the way they tell you to. don't do too much in sports too soon, but like the other poster said, you'll be in great condition by the time school starts.

Sounds about right. 3 weeks in the cast, the next 6 weeks or so taking it easy and being extra careful as it heals properly. You'll be right as rain by the time you're back in school come September.
