Is there such thing as a biodegradable firework?

There was a firework that went off and some of it hit me in the eye, does anyone know any thing to help it?

water or ice will just irritate it more. Rinse it with saline solution. If it still hurts tomorrow, or wakes you up, get to a doctor... That is what you want to hear. Now personally, I'd just go to a doctor. If your cornea has dammage and is very thinned out and ready to pop, you could be blind for life. The choice is yours.

flush it out with water maybe try and get some eye drops put a wet rag over it once in awhile make sure theres nothing in it

You have to go to the eye doctor and have him check your eye to make sure it is not scratched.

I really think you need to see a doctor. There may be some damage under the eyelid that you cannot see. Please do not take a chance on something as important as your sight!!!

You should go to the ER and have it looked at. People have lost their eyesight because of firework accidents to the eye.
