There are several routes the writer's could take to avoid his death, and he is both a very important and popular character, so I personally doubt he's assumed room temperature.

well...nothing is ever certain with this show. it's possible that they'll go either way. this show is so good with cliffhangers...i totally want to watch more. if you want to watch/record season 2 i have a feeling that reruns will be coming on. but i'm not sure.
