How do you get rid of a spider bite!!!??!!!?

    2 cents is right. We see a lot of patients who come in thinking they have spider bites (and some do....) but if it is really hard, VERY sore, red and is getting much larger over a small period of time it might be MRSA or a staph infection and you might need to get it cultured. Clean it well with soap and hot water, put an antibiotic ointment on it (like your neosporin) and wrap it in some gauze. Then I would elevate it and rest it on a pillow and heating pad. Keep an eye on & if it doesn't start to get better-go have it looked at. Take care!
