How dangerous is internal bleeding on a finger?

How can u stop bleeding on the top of ur finger??? HELP QUICK?

    Cut your hand off and then you'll be bleeding from the wrist instead. Only kidding. You just have to keep pressing on it, it will stop eventually. Edit: What the second answer says is better.
