  • Answer:

Stretching is supposed to be a slow process. You should stay at each gauge for a minimum of a month to make sure you ears have fully recovered from it. I'm extremely doubting it's an infection, but it definitely is irritated. But some sort of jewelery in (the smallest gauge jewelry you have), and leave your ears alone for a few months. In the mean time, learn how to stretch correctly before you screw up your ears further. Also, tapers are not jewelry. Make sure you know what you are wearing in your ear & the quality of it.

now that you have already taken the gauges out, if they are bleeding and have puss the only thing you can do with the holes is let them heal and leave them alone. put antibiotic on it. wait weeks before messing with your ears again. if you want to gauge in the future, see if a regular earing fits in like 2-3 weeks but LET THIS HEAL FIRST. if they do fit, then go from there. if the hole is fully closed then ask about getting them re-pierced but it sounds like you don't have patience to let your ears heal between size jumps
