Can you make a hand blister heal faster?

    I don't play bass, so I'm not sure if this technique will work as well for you, but I think it'll suffice. I used to row, and my friend told me that blisters heal faster if you let them be (with the liquid remaining inside the blister), but that didn't work for me. If your blister won't heal after a couple days, I'd recommend popping it, but with a needle or something that won't really tear the skin, just pierce a hole small enough to let out liquid. Then keep the top layer of skin pressed to the underlying layers, and it should heal back like that...you can probably put a band-aid or something similar on while you're practicing, but let it breathe so the skin doesn't get all wrinkly or white/soggy from the moisture.
