Are there any live tv shows taped in atlanta, georgia?

When TV shows say theyre live (like Ellen, Oprah, TRL) does it mean that theyre happening right now or...?

It depends on where it is shown. Usually they call it live on tape which means they tape it as it happens and show it mistakes and all - no editing. So they can air it right across the board as live which it is - in a way.

pretaped in front of a live audience. mostly the only shows that are going on actually as they are being broadcast are news shows like the Today show or your local news, and even then there's a 15 or 30 second delay (thank you Janet Jackson)

Yes...there is usually a delay by just a few seconds in case anything needs to be edited though.
