What can I do to make my hand stop hurting?

I just burnt my hand with a curling iron...how to make it stop hurting?

    WATER..WATER...WATER..and more water.It is the best and only thing to use..NOT ice cold..Just normal out of the tap water... Run it under the tap first for about 10 minutes.. Helps with the pain etc.. Then later..IF not to bad..Dress it with a clean dry dressing.. Maybe some Zinc Oxide ointment.. if needed.. Otherwise if it is really bad..Go to your Hospital for an examination on it.. AND FOR HEAVEN sake.. Dont pop the blisters..Prevents infection..IF they pop on their own..So be it.. Just keep it clean and dry..

yeah whenever i burn myself it hurts like fffffffffffffffffff. with burns, the pain ussually doesnt go away. But I'd wrap a cloth with cold water around it to "soothe" it
