What exactly DOES a spider bite look like?

    It really is hard to determine a spider bite. My best advice to you is to draw a circle around the bite and mark it down on a calender. If swelling and redness occur outside of the marking check in with your doctor. If you have any shortness of breath, fever or anything out of the ordinary happen go to ER and make sure you tell them about the bite.

The descriptions from below are fairly good descriptions, I would disagree with the rareity of spider bites however, in my field I see them fairly regularly. There are spiders found within the house, such as a brown recluse or black widow. These bites can be lethat if the poison makes it into the bloodstream. Blood poisoning can take effect quite quickly and without medical attention, a person could lose limb or even their life. And yeah, the results of not seeking medical attention can look quite nasty.
