If you cut jalapeno and itch your nose...how can you get rid of the burn?

Blew my nose after touching jalapeno seeds and the burn was unbelievable. I stuck a tissue into sour cream and it almost instantly stopped the burn. Put in the nostrils and on top of and around your nose. Seems extreme, but my nose stopped burning!

ahhh i know your pain! i did something similar about 3/4 years ago except it involved me rubbing my eye. Thank god I wear contacts ,but I had to take the contact out, dispose of it then run cool water over my eye. ya, only thing I can think of that helps is milk. good luck

by now the burn is already gone...it ususally last me about an hour......:-)

wsh it with soap and water...

take a shower, stick your nose in milk, use ice, try a baking soda paste....

Use gloves next time lol Try rubbing milk on it. Milk always works for spicy stuff.

I would advise you to use gloves next time and keep your hands out of your face. i don't have a remedy for the burn. I cut some jalapenos before and didn't wear gloves. My hands burned for about a week and a half. I had know remedy but you might call you doctor and ask them.
